Manufactured from uncoated hot-rolled steel strip and hot-dip galvanized after manufacture – this achieves a thicker zinc coating than with pre-galvanizing and means all the edges of the channel and slots are zinc coated. IF channel can support 397kg per meter, uniformly distributed.
Manufactured to BS 6946:1988 and marked at regular intervals along each length with the Industrial Fasteners name and BS number.
IF Channel is manufactured to Industrial Fasteners product specifications and undergo a detailed quality inspection process to ensure consistently high quality, performance, and finish.
IF Channel is intended to be used as a system and each component carries the Industrial Fasteners name for onsite verification of system integrity. Installing IF as an integrated system following the Industrial Fasteners installation criteria substantiates the design load of the supports.
